Foebreaker Job IconFoebreaker

One of the strongest classes in the game due to its ability to access all four “break” Technicks: Technick IconAddle, Technick IconShear, Technick IconWither, and Technick IconExpose. Its primary weapons are Axes and Hammers, so again, it is best to pair this job with another, such as the Bushi or Shikari, to increase damage.

Esper and Quickening Unlocks

Each Esper and Quickening you unlock is tied to a specific spot on the License Board, and claiming one opens up the licenses around it. The table below shows which extra licenses each Esper makes available on this board, along with the Quickening unlock, so you can decide which character should claim each one.

Job Pairing Recommendations

The Foebreaker works best when paired with a second job that covers its gaps. A few combinations worth considering:

Combination Why It Works
Foebreaker / Shikari The top-ranked combination in the game, pairing the Foebreaker’s four Breaks with the Shikari’s ninja swords and Swiftness Licenses for a nearly unstoppable attacker.
Foebreaker / Bushi Combines the four Breaks with the Bushi’s fast, Magick-scaling Katanas for a debuffer that still hits hard.
Foebreaker / Monk Backs the Breaks with the Monk’s huge HP pool and Pole damage for a tanky front-liner.
