Trial Mode - Stages 51 to 60
Tips on how to complete each of the Stages and a list of the items that can be picked up from treasure chests or stolen from the enemies. Note that you need to have Diamond Armlet equipped in order to obtain the treasure listed. Opening the treasure chest without a Diamond Armlet will result in you receiving consumable and expendable items.
The Helvinek is a rare foe that can be found in the Necrohol of Nabudis. It can cast Disablega on your party so be sure to have a Black Belt or a Ribbon equipped to one of your party members.
This battle is similar to the battle against Catoblepas during Hunt 30: Paying for the Past. There is very little strategy required during this fight and War-chief Supinelu will assist your party during the battle. Catoblepas is weak to Holy Magick.
- Rare: Golden Axe
This battle is against a Deathscythe which is the same enemy that you fight during Hunt 25: Dead City Watch. Deathscythe will cast Darkga, Doom and Death. Darkga will do Dark-based damage and Doom/Death will instantly kill party members or slowly kill them over time. It will also use the Annul attack which will reduce one of your party member’s MP to 0 so be prepared to use Hi-Ethers in order to restore missing MP.
Stolen from Deathscythe:
- Uncommon: Black Robes
Stolen from Reaper:
- Uncommon: Crown of Laurels
This battle is against one Tyrant and three Piscodaemon enemies which are the same type that you fight during Hunt 28: The Black Sorcerer. Piscodaemons are quite easy to defeat but you may need to equip a Black Belt or a Ribbon in order to prevent the Disable status effect. Tyrant is weak to Ice-based Magick.
Stolen from Piscodaemon:
- Rare: Black Mask
This battle is against five gargoyle-type enemies. The Larva Eater is a rare enemy that can be found in the Great Crystal and the Elvorets are standard enemies that are found in the Necrohol of Nabudis. They can inflict the Disable status effect again so make sure to have a Black Belt or Ribbon equipped with an Esuna Magick Gambit ready to go.
This battle is against a few standard Chocobo enemies as well as Trickster which is the same type of enemy that you fight during Hunt 37: Paramina Run. Trickster has two phases; during the first phase, you should cast Dispel on it to remove its Protect status effect. During the second phase it will start using Choco-Comet which does heavy damage to all of your party members. It will also become immune physical damage so switch to using Magick attacks.
This battle is similar to the battle against Ba’Gamnan during Hunt 41: Dark Rumor (Belito). Cast buffs on your party members while Ba’Gamnan and his party make their way over to you on the oil platform (cast Bubble, Protect, Shell, Haste, etc.). Have one of your party members cast Dispel on the combatants and start off by taking out the supporting characters (Bwagi and then Rinok). Monid will assist you during this battle again.
