Ultima Buster has several attacks that will hit your party members with negative status effects. Its “Contamination” attack will inflict Confuse, Poison, Slow, Zombie, and Full Break.

You should consider power leveling your characters and obtaining the Celestial Weapons. Check out the Advanced section of the Tips and Tricks for more information. Properly leveled characters with their strongest weapons are a necessity for this battle.

You should also consider crafting strong armor that contains the Ribbon accessory, among others. Check out the Best Armor page in the Tips and Tricks section for additional details.

Using spells that hit the head, the arms, and the body all at the same time is incredibly effective. These spells include ones like Ultima. Alternatively, you can have Yuna summon her Aeons to assist with the battle.
