Warp to the Moonflow from the Celsius. Consider saving your game at the Save Sphere just in case you have trouble with the upcoming Mission and need to restart.

Travel east from the South Wharf to the South Bank and interact with Tobli.

South Bank Road

Travel south along the road until you meet up with Tobli’s Hypello assistant shown in the screenshot below.

Speak with the Hypello to initiate the next Mission called…

Mission: Shave the Hypello?

This Mission plays out exactly how it’s described on the Mission overview screen. Tobli’s assistant will lead the Chocobo-driven wagon along the South Bank Road back to the South Bank to Tobli, but during the trip, bandits will spawn and attempt to steal the cargo out of the back of the wagon.

Tobli’s assistant will shout, “Oh no. Bandits. We are under shiege?”, so when you see that message, start looking around for the bandits.

The first ambush has just the one bandit that you’ll have to catch up to. Engage it in battle, defeat the bandits by force (they’re not very difficult), and continue down the pathway until you reach the next encounter.

There are three encounters total: the first one, with one single bandit, and then two more encounters, each with two bandits. In the second encounter, they both come from the front, and in the final encounter, they come from both the front and the back.

Don’t let any of the bandits get away with the boxes of cargo! There should be five in the back of the wagon once the bandits have been dispatched. If a bandit ever escapes with a box, restart your game from your last save file.

South Bank

A short scene takes place during the reunion with Tobli. As he promised, he gives you a sphere, which is actually your new Dressphere for the Gun Mage role. This powerful sphere brings all kinds of utility to the team.

If you saved all of the cargo, he’ll also give you a Circlet accessory and the Helios Guard Garment Grid. Don’t lose any cargo. If a bandit escapes with a package, reload your save and run the escort again; an imperfect run changes Tobli’s scenes and rewards later in the game.

Dressphere Decisions

That’s all you can do at the Moonflow… but you’re left with an important question that may be worth addressing now that you have access to another new Dressphere. At this point, you should have access to eight (Gunner, Songstress, Thief, Warrior, Festivalist, Black Mage, White Mage, Gun Mage), which means you have to start settling on which Dresspheres you plan to have your characters use.

It’s more than possible to play through the game using any Dressphere combination. You certainly don’t have to optimize your decisions. But that being said, if you’re interested in learning which Dresspheres are considered to be the “best” and which ones tend to be found lacking, check out the “Best Dresspheres” page in the Tips and Tricks section. This page can help you decide whether it’s worth it to, for example, swap out your Gunner for a Gun Mage. Either way, if you do decide to start using a Gun Mage, make sure it starts learning its Mech Destroyer ability. After that, you may want to have it learn the Shell Cracker ability, as this is one of the few rare attacks that ignore a Helm enemy’s heavy armor.
