Last Mission

Final Fantasy X-2 is an optional mini-game of sorts added to the international and HD Remaster versions of the game. Most players’ first and only exposure is noticing it as a menu option alongside “Final Fantasy X: Eternal Calm,” but it’s not a fully formed game like FFX and FFX-2, so most people skip it.

If you’re a die-hard Final Fantasy X fan and want an extra challenge and a bit more time with the lead characters of X-2, this game is worth a playthrough. The additional lore is nothing to write home about, so if you lose interest after the first 10 or so floors, it doesn’t deviate much from the formula it establishes early on.

That being said, there are a bunch of achievement/trophies tied to “Last Mission” for players who are going for 100% completion, including Bronze Trophy IconJust Starting, Bronze Trophy IconStill a Ways, Bronze Trophy IconMidway Through, Bronze Trophy IconAlmost There, Silver Trophy IconTonberry’s Treasure, and Gold Trophy IconGiant Tower.

It’s recommended that you read through each of the sections below to gain a better understanding of the flow of the game and make traversing through the floors much easier, and then use the floor-by-floor guide at the bottom of the page as you make your way up the tower. Good luck!
