Rinoa is the primary love interest of the protagonist, Squall, and joins the team following the events of the Timber Forest Owls mission. She tends to be far more in touch with her emotions than Squall, which causes tension between the two of them at times, and she is aided in battle by her dog Angelo.
Angelo is involved in most of Rinoa’s limit breaks and will also jump in to defend Rinoa at times during battle to do some extra damage, making Rinoa a great party member to include.
