Edea is the target of the first SeeD mission that begins after the team reaches Galbadia Garden. Known as Sorceress Edea, she foils the teams plans in Deling City, and then joins the team at various points in the story.
At the risk of ruining any of the story, this strategy guide won’t expand too much more on her role in the story, but she does join the team on the Path to Esthar and in the Great Salt Lake.
Edea is a temporary character that will not be with your party for long when he joins them, however, all of the magic that she Draws will be transferred to another character if you swap all of the junctions over to her. Don’t hesitate to have her stock up on key magic spells if you do include her in your party.
