After the Storm

The Hideaway
Clive and the team will return to the Hideaway after the events at Drake’s Breath. The first thing we can do is visit Charon’s Toll to purchase some new items:

Charon is also selling the Platinum Cannons, but these are not better than the
Mythril Wristlets that you have equipped. Don’t forget to stock up on
Potions and
High Potions if you depleted your inventory during the last boss fights.
Next, let’s head over to Blackthorne at The Black Hammer. You’ve already purchased the
Platinum Sword, so don’t have him craft the
Platinum Sword +1. Instead, press the
button to have him reinforce the one you just purchased, along with the following:

You can still have him reinforce your Platinum Cannons if you purchased them, but even in their upgraded form (
Platinum Cannons +2), they’re worse than what you’re already wearing.
Now we can move on to some of the Optional Quests that are available:
The Root of the Problem
Optional Quest

“At the hideaway, medicine is in constant short supply, but botanist Nigel is of a mind to change that. If he can get his hands on samples of morganbeard—a rare flower renowned for its curative properties—he plans to cultivate his own in the backyard…or at least try to.”

Cut from the Cloth
Optional Quest

“Hortense is a busy woman, and when she’s not seeing that the hideaway’s shelves remained stocked, her days are spent hemming kirtles and mending britches. A long-delayed delivery of linen from the draper in Northreach, however, is preventing her from this important task and so she has asked Clive to collect the cloth in her stead the next time he is in northern Sanbreque.”

There are two more Hunts that are available as well:
Sekhret
Notorious Mark / Hunt

“While minotaurs have long dwelled in the mountainous regions of Rosaria, it is only recently that they have come down from the highlands to hunt in the swamps surrounding Martha’s Rest. Among their number is one whose sheer size suggests it to be a chieftain, who appears to be spearheading the push south. He must be stopped, lest the beastmen develop designs on the Rest proper.”

Severian
Notorious Mark / Hunt

“A particularly belligerent breed of echo has recently awakened amid the Fallen ruins near Martha’s Rest. It is known to activate on the approach of any human, armed or unarmed, and sets about them with a burning jet that has already reduced much of the surrounding marshland to ash. This is one echo that the Cursebreakers would fain see forever silenced.”

One of the spoils for defeating Severian is an Electrum, which was one of the materials we needed to craft some of the Drakeslayer gear. Head over to Blackthorn to have him craft your new belt:

Lastly, you can pick up your next reward at The Patron’s Whisper:

Once all of that is complete, you can go to the infirmary to move the story forward. Clive, Jill, and Gav will decide that it’s time to challenge Kupka. Go and speak to Otto, then talk to Vivian. Afterwards, you’ll have the option to make for the castle of Rosalith on the world map, which is where the next Main Scenario Quest begins.
