This page provides an overview of how to complete the 
Duty Undying Optional Quest.
Unlock Conditions
This quest and seven others become available once you’ve completed the 
Across the Narrow Main Scenario Quest and return to the Hideaway.
Quest Giver and Location
The quest giver is Cyril, who can be found in the Clayhearth of the town of Tabor.
Quest Details
This quest has you exploring a newly opened area of Dhalmekia to reach the town of Kretov. Begin by traveling to 
The Gilded Path Obelisk. Use the map below to pick up the treasure coffer (which contains a 
Ring of the Demolitionist) along the way and to help guide you through Titan’s Wake towards the town.
The Kretov Obelisk will activate once you reach the town. Use the 
button to open the large wooden doors and head inside.
Once inside, you’ll have to defeat some Fallen Echoes and then deal with a new enemy called a “Fool’s Gold.” This enemy is similar to the Fallen Guardian you fought at the Phoenix Gate Ruins and is also very similar to 
Severian, but with a new attack called “Enfilade,” which shoots out a large number of glowing blue orbs towards Clive that deal damage if they hit him.
After the fight and the dialogue, but before you head back to Tabor, grab the treasure coffers here in Kretov:

Travel back to Tabor, speak to Cyril, and provide him with the 
Kretov Report to complete the quest.
