This quest and seven others become available once you’ve completed the 
Across the Narrow Main Scenario Quest and return to the Hideaway.
Quest Giver and Location
The quest giver is August, and he can be found in the mess of the Hideaway again.
Quest Details
Travel to the 
Dravozd Obelisk in Southern Dhalmekia. Head into the town, just past the shop, and speak with August one more time here in Dravozd.
The next step of the quest is to speak to August again ‘when you are ready,’ which is the game’s way of allowing you to make sure you’re ready for an upcoming battle. The forthcoming battles are not difficult, but you may have some new Eikonic Abilities that need rearranging now that you have access to Shiva. You can refer back to the “Abilities Recommendations” page if you want help setting up your new abilities:

Tips and Tricks
This section will provide some tips for setting up your single-target and multi-target Eikonic Ability Sets, including covering which Abilities are the most effective and which you should consider avoiding altogether.
Speak to August again when you’re ready to fight. The battle begins with a wave of three Akashic Wolves and an Akashic Bighorn. As the Bighorn’s health gets low, it’ll be joined by some “Akashic Leg Eaters”/Scorpions, and following that, a large Akashic Griffin (similar to 
Dozmare).
The final fight is against a “Canyon Chimera,” which is a new enemy and the first chimera-type enemy you’ve faced, but it doesn’t have an overly complicated attack pattern. It can launch magic attacks from its two dragon heads, and it can breathe fire.
Speak to Zoltan after you’ve defeated it and return to the Hideaway to complete the quest. Before you make it back, Zoltan will give Clive the 
Cracked Anvil seal/curiosity.

So not only does this quest give you the design pattern for Clive’s strongest weapon, you’ll also receive Ragnarok as a reward for completing the “Blacksmith’s Blues” chain. This new sword will be quite a bit more powerful than other swords you’ll have access to over the following few sections of the game; a worthy reward for all the help you’ve provided to Blackthorne.
