Rekindling the Flame II
This page provides an overview of how to complete the Rekindling the Flame II Optional Quest.
Unlock Conditions
This quest and seven others become available once you’ve completed the 
Across the Narrow Main Scenario Quest and return to the Hideaway.
Quest Giver and Location
The quest giver for this quest is Martha, who can be found in the Golden Stables at Martha’s Rest.
Quest Details
Martha will provide Clive with some 
Gysahl Greens Seeds. Travel to the 
Eastpool Obelisk and speak with Wade to give him the seeds and trigger a series of battles in the town square of Eastpool.
The first wave is a group of Akashic Goblins and Thistles. You can make quick work of them if you let them get close before executing a 
Diamond Dust attack. A second wave of Akashic will follow the first, and then Clive will be travelling to Rhiannon’s Ride.
Exit Eastpool to the south and ride your 
Chocobo south towards the Optional Quest Marker 
. The last battle is against an “Akashic Bandercoeurl,” which is just another version of a coeurl-type enemy, with all of the same attacks.
Clive will return to Eastpool to speak with Wade. Return to Martha at Martha’s Rest to complete the quest.
