Introduction

Welcome to the Jegged.com walkthrough and strategy guide for Final Fantasy X! As with any strategy guide or walkthrough, please note that these pages contain spoilers. Don’t read too far ahead if you’ve never played the game before and you don’t want to ruin the story.

Final Fantasy X was initially released on the PlayStation 2, but has since been re-released on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. This walkthrough was originally designed for the PlayStation 2 release and was updated to include information based on the newer versions.

The guide will contain references to achievements and trophies available in the PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch versions of the game. However, aside from those references, this game plays the same on all different systems. You can use this walkthrough and strategy guide no matter which version of the game you are playing.

You will need to select which type of Sphere Grid you wish to use in the HD Remastered version of the game. Check out the Sphere Grid section for more information on the different grid types.

Note that the heading for each walkthrough section often indicates the location that you should be in, but this can get a bit confusing as you move between screens. Use the button to bring up the menu and look in the bottom-left corner to find the “location.” You can use this to ensure you’re on the right track!
