There are several shops located throughout Spira. Each of them contains items that become more and more powerful as you progress through the game. Most of the shops are located in the major cities and towns you visit; however, many of your shopping opportunities come from a traveling merchant that follows you around, named O’aka XXIII.

O’aka XXIII’s shops are not covered under this section. Instead, you can find more information about his shops and about donating to his cause in the O’aka XXIII side quest page using the link below:

So, where are the shops located and what do they contain? A complete list of the shops is included below. Use the drop-down link to see the list of items.

Changing Item Prices

It is important to note that many of the shops change their item prices as you progress further and further through the game. This guide will list the regular item prices and note any changes in pricing in the write-up under each section.

Obtaining Fahrenheit

The items in most of the shops will either change prices or change inventory altogether once you receive the Airship and can use the NavMap to choose where you wish to go. Use the link below to go to that section of the strategy guide:

Besaid Village

This shop is the first one you have access to, located in Besaid Village after Tidus arrives on Besaid Island. Wakka will take Tidus back to his home village, and you can access the shop while exploring the town.

Kilika Island

The town of Kilika is destroyed before your team arrives, but you can find a hidden shop in one of the broken huts near where the ferry docks in the center of town.

Luca

There are three separate shops located in Luca. You can find two of them outside the Stadium locker rooms where you start the game. You can find the last shop in Luca Square near a cart outside the pub.

Mi’ihen Highroad

The shop is located inside Rin’s Travel Agency, and you can access it once you reach the end of the South and Central areas.

Djose Temple

The shop is located inside the Inn outside Djose Temple. You can purchase several items there after completing the Djose Cloister of Trials.

Moonflow

The Moonflow consists of two separate parts: the South Warf and the North Wharf. Four separate individuals on the South Wharf can sell you items. The prices for these items increase after you reach Macalania Temple.

Guadosalam

The Guadosalam shop is located in the center of the town.

Thunder Plains

This shop is located inside Rin’s Travel Agency, which is located between the South and North sections of the Thunder Plains.

Lake Macalania

This is another shop located inside Rin’s Travel Agency.

Airship

You can access the item shop on the Airship by speaking to Rin in the corridor. You can access it when you escape from Home and again when you gain complete control of the Airship.

Note also that the Tetra Armor that Rin sells already has the HP +10% attached to it.

Calm Lands

There are three shops located in the Calm Lands. One is referred to as “Rin’s Mobile Agency,” and it arrives via an airboat. This shop only appears once when the team first arrives from Macalania Woods.

The second shop is located inside the camp in the center of the Calm Lands. The third and final shop is accessible by heading to the Monster Arena.

Mt. Gagazet

There are two shops accessible along the Mount Gagazet Trail. The first is at the entrance, which you can access by speaking to the Ronso on the right side of the screen. The second is a shop that is set up by O’aka XXIII’s brother, Wantz.

Macalania Woods

This is the final shop, and it only appears if you spoke to Wantz while walking through the Mt. Gagazet Trail. Wantz reappears in Macalania Woods and sells the items listed below:
