Basilisks are the first enemy that you run into that can instantly cause you to see the “Game Over” screen if you allow them to petrify too many of your characters. They will use an attack called “Stone Gaze,” so make sure that you have 
Softs ready for use or make sure that you have armor with the 
Stone Ward or Stoneproof auto-ability.
Kimahri can use 
Lancet on a Basilisk to learn Stone Breath for his Ronso Rage Overdrive.
