Timber Maniacs
Side Quests

The Timber Maniacs side quest involves collecting all of the Timber Maniacs magazines as you work your way through the game. Each of the issues of Timber Maniacs provides an additional page under the study panel in the Balamb Garden classroom (just look for the Sir Laguna’s Page by Selphie Tilmitt). You also need to pick them up in order to earn a trophy/achievement in the PlayStation 4 or Steam remastered versions of the game.

All of the magazine issues are missable as once you reach Disc 4 of the game you end up being locked out of all of the towns and cities due to time being compressed. Therefore, its important that you pick up each of the magazines as you come across them. Their locations are identified in the walkthrough section of jegged.com but have also been listed here to help you with finding them.

1) Balamb Town

The first issue is available in Balamb Town in two different locations. You can either pick it up near the train station or by spending a night in Balamb Hotel.

2) Timber

The second issue can be picked up in the Timber Maniacs building itself when you visit the town of Timber.

3) Timber

The third issue is located inside the Timber Hotel guest room after you spend the night.

4) Dollet

The fourth issue is located on the second floor of the pub in Dollet near where the pub owner and the Queen of Cards are standing.

5) Dollet

The fifth issue is located in the Dollet Hotel guest room after you spend the night.

6) Deling City

The sixth issue is located in the Galbadia Hotel guest room inside Deling City after you spend the night.

7) Fishermans Horizon (FH)

The seventh issue is located inside the Fishermans Horizon (FH) inn in the guest room after you spend the night.

The eighth issue is located inside the Grease Monkeys House in Fishermans Horizon.

9) Trabia Garden

The ninth issue is located in the makeshift graveyard at Trabia Garden.

10) Shumi Village

The tenth issue is located in the house of the Artisan.

The twelfth issue is located on the bridge of the White SeeD ship next to where Zone is standing.

You will receive the Timber Maniacs Achievement/Trophy as soon as you pick up the last issue of Timber Maniacs and have collected all 12.

Timber Maniacs Trophy

Achievements and Trophies are optional rewards that you can unlock by completing objectives in the PC, Steam or PlayStation 4 version of the game. A full list of achievements and trophies that you can obtain can be found in the Achievements and Trophies Section.
