The last member to join the group, Irvine completes the team after they depart from Galbadia Garden on their way to Deling City for the next SeeD mission.
Known as a highly skilled shot and sniper, he is able to make use of specialized ammunition when he completes a limit break that changes his attack type depending on the ammo used.
Considered quite a ladies man, he makes some not-so-subtle attempts to get closer to all three ladies throughout the game, but tends to be more on the meek side than he lets on. His tough guy schtick is exactly that.
