Ornitholestes can be unlocked by capturing three of each Reptile-type fiend which includes each of the following:
· Dinonix (Kilika)
· Ipiria (Mi’ihen Highroad)
· Raptor (Mushroom Rock Road)
· Melusine (Thunder Plains)
· Iguion (Macalania)
· Yowie (Stolen Fayth Cavern)
· Zaurus (Omega Ruins)
Ornitholestes is a fairly easy fiend to defeat. It has high Evasion and high Agility, so it can be difficult to hit it, but use 
Aim and 
Luck to increase your odds of hitting it.
You should consider power leveling your characters and obtaining the Celestial Weapons, in this case, for Yuna specifically. Check out the Advanced section of the Tips and Tricks for more information. With properly leveled characters this fight is fairly easy.
