The Bomb is a Bomb-type enemy (it is both a fiend and an enemy type) that you can find along the Mi’ihen Highroad. You need to capture five of each Bomb-type enemy to unlock Bomb King in the Species Conquest section of the Monster Arena.

Bombs will grow up to three times larger, and if not defeated, they will explode for a ton of damage. You can plan for and protect yourself against this attack, or just defeat the Bombs as quickly as possible when you encounter them. They are not too difficult to beat.

Kimahri can use Lancet on a Bomb to learn Self-Destruct for his Ronso Rage Overdrive.
