Bunyip is a Helm/Armored-type enemy that can be found along the Djose Highroad. You need to capture five of each Helm/Armored-type enemy in order to unlock Tanket in the Species Conquest section of the Monster Arena.
Defeating Bunyip is fairly easy, but have your characters with 
Piercing weapons, such as Auron or Kimahri. Alternatively, you can use ice or water-based magics to bring them down quickly.
