Djose Cloister of Trials

The Djose Cloister of Trials is completed in when the team reaches the Djose Temple after completing the events that occur at Mushroom Rock.

The first room has two Djose Spheres on both of the two side walls. Take out each Djose Sphere and place them in the doorway recesses in the door at the front of the room. The doorway will open into the next room.

In the next room you will see the symbol of Yevon on the floor in the middle of the room. The goal of the puzzles in this Cloister is to light up the entire symbol of Yevon. There is a reset switch off to the left side of the room if you mess anything up.

Go to the right of the Yevon symbol and you will see two empty slots on the wall and a partially lit up glyph on that same wall. Grab the two Djose Spheres in this room and place them in those two recesses.

The two Djose Spheres are at the back of the room. Parts of the symbol of Yevon will go out when you do this but this is normal and to be expected. The pillar on the roof will now light up.

Push the pedestal in the middle of the room underneath the pillar on the roof. The pedestal is located in the middle of the room perched on the symbol of Yevon.

Take the glowing green Djose Sphere and place it in the recess to the right of the door at the back of the room. The pathway inside this room is blocked by electric waves.

Go back and grab the two Djose Spheres out of the wall and place them on the pedestal. Push the pedestal into the room with the electric field and let it fall into the pit.

The pedestal will get stuck in the pit and will turn into a platform that you can jump on. Jump on to the pedestal and then across to the other side.

Push the pedestal on this side of the room back into the wall which will cause a trail to light up. You have now lit up another piece of the symbol of Yevon.

Step on the reset switch off to the left side of the symbol of Yevon to get the pedestal to come back to its original starting location.

Take the two Djose Spheres out of the pedestal and place them in the first two recesses in the very first room of the Cloister. This will light up two more sides of the symbol of Yevon.

The last portion of the symbol can be lit up by taking the glowing green sphere out of the recess on the right side of the doorway and placing it in the recess on the left side of the door. The whole symbol of Yevon will now be lit up. Step on the platform on the middle of the room to continue.

Go into the the room up ahead and push all of the pedestals backwards into the wall. Press the XButton to push them in. This will open up a stairway to complete the Djose Cloister of Trials. But we’re not done yet…

Take the elevator back down to the lower level. Make your way back over to the reset switch and you will notice a glowing glyph on the wall. Touch the glyph to cause the wall to lift up and reveal a Destruction Sphere.

Ride the elevator back up to the top floor and place the Destruction Sphere into the pedestal in the middle of the room. This will cause a wall to break away revealing a treasure chest that contains a Magic Sphere. Climb the stairs to continue the story.
