Bikanel Desert and Cactuar Nation
A cutscene with Nhadala will trigger as soon as you land in Bikanel. She will immediately ask Yuna and her crew to take Benzo with them and head to Cactuar Nation.
Helpful Hint
Hold off on digging for now. Every assembly you dig up levels up a boss you must fight in Chapter 5, and one of its Story Completion lines requires defeating it before it reaches maximum level.
The guide will tell you when it’s safe to dig freely.
Speak to the hover operator and select “Cactuar Nation” as the destination (no other destinations will be available anyway). After another short cutscene, you’ll arrive in a large sandy area surrounded by Cactuars. Select “That makes perfect sense!” to respond to Marnela and kick off another Mission.
Mission: The Cactuar Connection
This optional Mission is its own side quest. It involves tracking down 10 Cactuars, and it can be finished in Chapter 5. For now, you can only track down the first 6 Cactuars. Check out the Cactuar Nation page in the Side Quest section using the link below:

Completing the “Cactuar Connection” Mission to locate ‘ten gatekeepers,’ Cactuars who have hidden themselves throughout Spira. The locations of all 10 Cactuars are listed on this page.
After you’ve located the first 6 Cactuars, it’s time to head on to the next location, which is Bevelle.
Checking the “Bikanel Desert and Cactuar Nation Complete” box adds the Story Completion Percent for the automatic scenes in Bikanel Desert and Cactuar Nation.
