Please, Sir, Can I Have Some Morbol Optional Quest.
Unlock Conditions
This quest and two others become available once you complete the short “Like Father, Like Daughter” Main Scenario Subquest during 
A Song of Hope.
Quest Giver and Location
Nigel, the Head Botanist, can be found in the ‘Backyard’ area of the Hideaway, which is to the north behind Blackthorne and 
The Black Hammer.
Quest Details
The first step of this quest is to speak to Nektar at the 
Hunt Board for help locating an “extraordinary” morbol.
A new notice will appear for “Carrot,” a creature that can be found in the “Whispering Waters” area of Rosaria. Travel to the 
Three Reeds Obelisk and head into the large open area forward and to the north.
The objective for this Optional Quest is to complete the next Hunt against Carrot.
Notorious Mark / Hunt
“If you should come across a red carrot protruding from the marshes of Three Reeds, do not attempt to pull it from the swampy soil. It is, in truth, another root vegetable entirely—an exotic species of morbol that uses a modified, carrot-like vine as a lure to draw its prey close, before emerging from the earth and swallowing them whole. A cruel way for Nature to turn these times of privation to her advantage.”
Return to Nigel and give him the 
Morbol Tendril to complete the quest.

Renown
AmberThe Invigorated Morganbeard Extract increases the potency of Clive’s potions. 
Potions and High Potions will heal more HP, while Stoneskin Tonic, Strength Tonic, and 
Lionheart Tonic will each last longer.
Achievement/Trophy
“Upgrade consumable potency and inventory slots to their maximum (excluding battles in the Hall of Virtue).” Assuming you’ve completed all of the Optional Quests up to this point, including Weird Science, Even Weirder Science, 
The Fruits of Her Labors, and this last one, you should receive this Achievement/Trophy.
