Duty Undying II
This page provides an overview of how to complete the Duty Undying II Optional Quest.

Unlock Conditions
This quest is unlocked when you reach Back to Their Origin, the last Main Scenario Quest. You’ll also need to have completed the original
Duty Undying Optional Quest as well.
Quest Giver and Location
Travel to the Tabor Obelisk in Dhalmekia and head into Clayhearth to speak with Cyril and begin the quest.

Quest Details
First, travel to the Eistla Obelisk and head east into Halfcombe towards the town of Mikkelburg. A cinematic will trigger when you open the doors to the town.

Follow the pathway around the outside of the town to find the Third Chair. Go into the house to find the “Hooded Man.”
Once you’re back outside, you’ll have to defeat a group of Fallen Echoes, followed by a “Titus,” which is similar to Severian but much weaker.

Speak to Cyril again to complete the quest.

There’s an additional reward you can pick up, and you need to obtain it to complete The Thousand Tomes fully. Go back into Clayhearth and speak with Cyril to retrieve The Book of Martyrs.
