The Dark Magus Sisters are one of the Dark Aeons that spawn after you have obtained the airship Fahrenheit. The Dark Magus Sisters can be found along the Mushroom Rock Road. Making them appear is easy enough but battling all three at the same time will prove quite difficult.

Location

Travel back to the Mushroom Rock Road. Head towards the Djose Highroad and you will be ambushed by some disguised Yevon acolytes that will summon the Dark Magus Sisters. Many players will come across the sisters by accident and will be defeated very quickly.

You can fight them as they approach you right there, or you can run away and fight each of the sisters one-on-one. Refer to the Battle Strategy section for additional details.

Battle Preparation

Each of the Dark Aeons, including the Dark Magus Sisters, are considered superbosses and are some of the strongest enemies that you can fight in the game. As such, you will need to ensure that your party is fully leveled, has their best weapons and has their stats maximized as much as possible. Refer to the Advanced area of the Tips and Tricks section for additional details.

Preparing for battle against Dark Magus Sisters does not require much in the way of additional preparation because the battle against each of the sisters individually is much easier than battling all them on their own.

Battle Strategy

The most important strategy for defeating the Dark Magus Sisters is to make sure that you don’t fight all them at the same time. While the battle is still winnable, it is much easier to defeat each of the sisters on their own. Easier to the point where not much strategy is required in order to defeat them (compared to the other Dark Aeons).

Once the Dark Magus Sisters approach Tidus, run north into the Mushroom Rock Valley.

Continue running along the Mushroom Rock Valley road, as quickly as you can, and two of the sisters will fall away. The first will be Dark Cindy and the second will be Dark Mindy who won’t take the elevator up to the second level of the valley.

Head back down in to the valley after you have separated the sisters and battle each of them separately. They are fairly easy to defeat on their own.

• Return Sphere (Cindy) (common)
• Elixir (rare)

And Dark Valefor will drop the following items when it is defeated:

• Dark Matter (common)
• Master Sphere (rare)
