Rekindling the Flame
This page provides an overview of how to complete the Rekindling the Flame Optional Quest.

Unlock Conditions
Three new quests, including this one, after you reach The Gilded Path Obelisk. You can see all three quests on the world map, and you can complete them before you head to “The Free Cities of Kanver.”
Quest Giver and Location
Martha can be found inside the Golden Stables at Martha’s Rest.

Quest Details
The first step of this quest is to speak to Wade just outside the Golden Stables for another short cutscene. Next, swap to your single-target Eikonic Ability Set, and travel to the
Eastpool Obelisk.

You will have to dispatch two groups of “Unsavory Settlers” to start off this battle, which is a bit more challenging with just your single-target abilities, but once they’ve been dispatched, you’ll face off against “Two Scoops,” which is another flan-type enemy. You’ve seen this type of enemy twice now, once in Mt. Drustanus (Red Mousse) and during the Hunt for the Flan Prince.

This mark’s attacks are the same as those of the two previous enemies, but missing a few of the more powerful attacks. Its attacks include:
Physical Attacks:
- Hand thrust: It will reach its two hands into the air and then thrust them forward, attempting to slap Clive.
- Jump: It will slam both its hands down and then lunge forward. It will typically use this attack if you’re too far away from it to close the distance.
- Headbutt: It will lean back with its head before thrusting it forward in Clive’s direction. Its head grows quite large, causing this attack to hit a wider area than you might expect.
- Spinning Hands: Flan Prince will wind up like a top and then spin in a circle, hitting a wide range around its body.
Magic Attacks:
- Lightning Balls: Small, black orbs, similar to the ones that appear when you use
Blind Justice, will slowly drift towards Clive. Flan Prince will begin glowing just as it’s about to use this move, and if you leave some distance for the orbs to travel, they are very easy to counterattack with
Heatwave.
- Lightning Hands: Beams of light will emanate outwards from the creature in front of it and towards Clive.
This creature will be missing some of the Flan Prince’s more powerful attacks, like “Dualcast” and “Hands Down,” though, making it much easier to defeat.
Return to Martha after Two Scoops has been defeated to complete the quest.
