Unlock Conditions

Notorious Mark Location

The Knight of the Splendent Heart can be found at the “Penitent’s Gate,” which is actually near the Obelisk IconRoyal Meadows Obelisk. However, likely, you haven’t activated this Obelisk yet, as there hasn’t been a reason to venture this far north in the Royal Meadows.

Alternatively, you’ll have to get there from Northreach or the southern portion of the Royal Meadows if you’re coming from Westwatch after having defeated the Notorious Mark IconPrince of Death.

Rank: A

One of the more challenging aspects of fighting the Knight of the Splendent Heart is trying to avoid the environmental hazards as you’re trying to dodge his attacks. He behaves very similarly to the other Dragoon Knights you’ve fought, like the Knight of the Blinding Dawn and “Knight of the Lasting Light.” He has one new move:

  • Mirage Dive: This is a slightly new attack where, instead of just landing where Clive is standing, a multitude of spots will light up both in Clive’s current location and in the areas around him, meaning you’ll have to be more deliberate about where you dodge.

But otherwise, for a Rank A Notorious Mark, he’s quite easy to defeat.
