Back Row: Radiant Gale - Type: Wind. Electrified cyclone that slashes the entire enemy unit and paralyzes them.
Information:
Quetzalcoatl is the evolved form of a Thunder Dragon. Its element it electric, and its Radiant Gale attack has a chance of Paralyzing the enemy. It is long and skinny, and blue, like that of what Chinease dragons look like. This is one of my favorite types of dragon because it is very, very powerful. (Rating: Good)

The Flarebrass dragon is the evolved form of the red dragon, and its element is flame. This dragon just plain looks cool and powerful. This dragon is also no doubt very powerful. Its move, Crimson Note, will power down all those it hits, putting the enemy at a heavy disadvantage. (Rating: Great)

Back Row: Earthquake - Type: Earth. Localized, large-scale earthquake that temporarily hinders the entire units performance.
Information:
Ahzi Dahaka is just a weird name for the evolved form of an Earth Dragon. This dragon is not the most powerful, and doesn’t look as cool as the others, but it looks good for what element it is. But, I have tried using it, and its attack is okay, it does power down people, but it’s not very powerful. It’s dark green in color and is very low to the ground, and appears like it is wearing layer after layer of armor. (Rating: Okay)

The Hydra is the evolved form of the blue dragon. I never really used this dragon, because in my opinion, I thought it didn’t really look that cool. Its moves aren’t very good either, although Clear Disaster does have a chance of putting people to sleep. This dragon is blue and has five heads. Other than that its structure is the same as all other dragons. (Rating: Good)
Bahamut

Information:
Bahamut is the evolved form of a Platinum dragon, therefore it has the element of Virtue. It looks exactly like what all normal dragons do, but there is one major let down about Bahamut. His Back Row move doesn’t do anything to the enemy ( Put them to sleep, or power them down) It just hurts them. (Rating: Good)

Information:
A Tiamat is the evolved form of a Black Dragon. It has the element of Bane. Its move does have a chance of putting enemies to sleep, and is very powerful. This particular type of dragon is very rare to get, and hard to find. I found this dragon very helpful, and good in battle. (Rating: Excellent)

Extra Help:

Help with evolving dragons.

Black Dragons and Platinum Dragons are very rare to come across and should be treasured. Although, in some places the Platinum dragon can be very plentiful.

Some key things to keep in mind when trying to catch a young dragon are that Hugo will always tell you what you can find in a level in an area investigation. Just go into an area investigation, and while on your home base, enter the strong hold. Hugo will tell you what you can find and where.

I was able to easily find a dragon in the first level, the first time I played. Usually young dragons are very plentiful in the first level, so I suggest looking there. However, my friend had a lot of trouble finding a dragon there. As a matter of fact, he never did. He could find all the Golems he wanted in the mountains though. So although some may find capturing young dragons very easy, some may not be able to do it at all. It is believed that this is an effect of the decisions you make in the beginning of the game.

Dragons and other beasts will evolve naturally in battle. Once they reach the correct level, you will be prompted by the game, and you’ll be informed that you dragon has evolved into new dragon. The don’t need any items or need to go up any classes. Just use them as often as you can.

I found that putting dragons on my team began to make my teams much more Chaotic. I don’t know whether this is true, but I have had reasons to believe that dragons of certain elements will effect the other character’s alignment, Virtue and Bane. For some reason though, I found that when I fought with dragons, my team became much more powerful, and I began to become more and more chaotic. Don’t let this happen to you! You miss out on a lot of units if all your units are chaotic, as there’s almost no way to change this once it happens.
