The Ten of Clubs
The section provides an overview of how to track down and defeat the Notorious Mark for the Ten of Clubs Hunt.
In-Game Description
“Merchants who ply their trade across the Fields of Corava tell of an outlaw five-and-twenty hands high and might of thew who preys upon unescorted travelers. They claim he lives alone in one of the many abandoned villages that litter the region, but none has been brave nor foolish enough to narrow the search any further. If you who read this have either, or both, of those qualities, the Dhalmekians beg your aid.”
Unlock Conditions
This hunt is available as soon as you begin the 
Things Fall Apart Main Scenario Quest; however, you can’t leave the Hideaway until you’ve spoken to Otto, Vivian, and Harpocrates.
Notorious Mark Location
You can find this Notorious Mark in an abandoned town called Vamare along the southern wall of the Fields of Corava. Warp to either the 
The Jaw or Dravozd Obeliskand travel to the town by 
Chocobo.
Battle Tactics

This is another axe-wielder enemy that functions very similarly to the others you’ve faced up to this point, but with a few extra attacks to be aware of. These additional attacks include:
- Peine Forte: Ten of Clubs will slam his axe on the ground, causing a ripple outward from where he’s standing towards Clive. He will always use this attack at the start of the battle. Dodge out of the glowing orange areas that appear on the ground.
- Execution: The Ten of Clubs will attempt to hit Clive with four powerful axe swing attacks. The combo begins with a lunge across the battlefield with an overhand swing, followed by a quick horizontal slash, and into one more overhand swing. Lastly, there will be a short pause before he lunges toward Clive with one more overhanded swing. The only difficult aspect of this attack is getting used to the timing.
