This Mission takes place in Taejin’s Tower.
This Cie’th Stone is located at the top of Taejin’s Tower after Dahaka has been defeated.
Mithridates is technically located on the Ground Tier of Taejin’s Tower, but in order to trigger Mithridates to appear, you’ll need to ride the elevator from the very top Apex of Taejin’s Tower down to the Ground Tier. You will also need to have completed the steps to access the Seventh Tier of the tower.
As a reminder, you can reach the Seventh Tier by walking to the opposite side of the Apex and examining the Menhirrim using the Button in the illuminated red circle . Use the elevator that appears to rider down to the Seventh Tier.
Seventh Tier
Defeat the group of Yaksha and Yakshini in the room when you arrive. Run over to the next Menhirrim statue and examine it as well to rearrange Taejin’s Tower one more time. This will allow the main tower elevator to be able to reach all of the tiers of the tower.
After you have completed these steps, ride the elevator back up to the Apex. To prepare for the fight, switch your default paradigm to Combat Medic. You may also want to consider equipping your party members with accessories that reduce lightning-based damage (Fulmen Rings or Spark Ring) and then ride the elevator down to the Ground Tier.
Did the mark not show up when you reached the Ground Tier? A common mistake players make is to just ride the elevator from the Seventh Tier down to the Ground Tier. You have to ride it down from the very top. Jump in the elevator again, go up to the Apex, and then from the Apex select the Ground Tier option.
A short cinematic will play as the team reaches the ground floor and you’ll automatically be thrown into battle.

Use Libra at the start of the fight. Note that this enemy is entirely immune to negative status effects so there is absolutely no value in having one of your party members in the Saboteur role.
The reason that it is recommended that you start off in the Combat Clinic paradigm for this fight is because Mithridates will open by attacking with Miasma. You may remember from other undying type enemies that this attack will inflict a number of negative status effects and depending on how lucky or unlucky you get, you could have multiple party members afflicted with all kinds of negative status effects. Having two Medics will allow your party to quickly get them removed before switching to the offensive.
Your best bet for this fight is to fully utilize the positive status effects that a Synergist can provide. Libra will reveal that Mithridates’ most powerful attacks are lightning-based (Levinbolt) which will trigger your Synergist to activate Barthunder on each of your party members which will help reduce incoming damage.
They will also cast Enfire (which increases the damage dealt to the mark) before moving on to Bravery, Faith, Protect, etc. All of these buffs are extremely valuable.
Don’t be afraid to switch back to more defensive paradigms if the attacks become too much to handle. Once you’re able to get Mithridates staggered though you should be able to output enough damage to bring it down.
