The Publicity Campaign and the Marriage Campaign are two separate side quests that both begin in the Calm Lands in Chapter 1, and they can be worked on at the same time.
The Publicity Campaign starts with the two representatives standing in front of the hover as you enter the Calm Lands. The one on the left works for Open Air, Inc. and the one on the right works for Argent, Inc. Speak to either one, select the “Publicity menu,” then select “Sign me up!” It does not matter which company you sign with. A few of the prizes for the Calm Lands attractions change depending on your choice, but the differences are minor.
The Marriage Campaign starts with the man near the shop and the Save Sphere in the centre of the Calm Lands, who is looking for a suitor for his son. He opens by asking whether Yuna is interested, and either answer works, then select “Why not!?” when he asks for your help.
From that point on you can press the button when you speak to NPCs anywhere in Spira and choose to promote your company or to spread the word about the man’s son. Each NPC offers a list of five replies. The best reply is worth five points and the rest are worth between zero and three, so the tables below give the people worth talking to in each chapter. Only women contribute Marriage points.
You need 400 points to finish the Publicity Campaign and 70 points to finish the Marriage Campaign, and both totals are comfortably within reach without backtracking. Return to the Calm Lands in Chapter 5 to complete them. The Marriage Campaign rewards a Speed Bracer, and the more points you gather, the more women turn up for the proposal.
