Limit Breaks: Yuffie

A full list of Yuffie’s Limit Breaks are included below. Yuffie has a total of seven Limit Breaks that she can learn.

Level 1

Greased Lightning
How to obtain it:
This is the Limit Break that Yuffie starts the game with.

Effect:
Deals damage to a single enemy. It does 3.125x the normal damage that Yuffie’s weapon does when using the Attack command.

Clear Tranquil
How to obtain it:
Use Greased Lightning a total of 8 times in battle.

Effect:
Heals each party member for half of their total HP.

Level 2

Landscaper
How to obtain it:
Defeat 64 enemies in battle.

Effect:
Deals damage to all enemies on the battlefield. It will deal 3.0x the normal damage the Yuffie’s weapon does when using the Attack command. Landscaper will not hitting flying enemies.

Bloodfest
How to obtain it:
Use Landscaper a total of 7 times in battle.

Effect:
Deals damage randomly to any enemy on the battlefield. Bloodfest attacks a total of ten times and will each hit each time for 0.625x the damage that Yuffie’s weapon does when using the Attack command. There is no way to direct the attacks and they will hit enemies randomly potentially resulting in them all hitting the same target.

Level 3

Gauntlet
How to obtain it:
Defeat 64 enemies in battle after you have obtained Landscaper.

Effect:
Deals damage to all enemies on the battlefield. The damage done is equal to 1.75x the damage that Yuffie’s weapon does when using the attack command. This attack will also ignore defense and result in a critical hit increasing the overall damage done.

Doom of the Living
How to obtain it:
Use Gauntlet a total of 6 times in battle.

Effect:
Deals damage randomly to any enemy on the battlefield. Yuffie will jump around and attack the enemies with her weapon and will hit for a total of 15 attacks. All of the attacks (including the final attack) will hit for 0.625x the damage that Yuffie’s weapon does when using the Attack command.

Level 4

All Creation
How to obtain it:
Use the All Creation item to teach this Limit Break to Yuffie. You can find the All Creation item by completing the Wutai Pagoda. Check out the Wutai Pagoda side quest section for additional details.

Effect:
Deals damage to all enemies on the battlefield. It does 8.0x the normal damage that Yuffie’s weapon does when using the Attack command. As a result, Doom of the Living is actually a more powerful Limit Break and it is recommended that you use Doom of the Living instead of All Creation.

Meet Your Maker

You will also receive the Meet Your Maker Trophy once you teach Yuffie his Level 4 Limit Break, All Creation, using the All Creation item that you can obtain in the Wutai Pagoda.
