Needs of the Many
This page provides an overview of how to complete the Needs of the Many Optional Quest.

Speak to Alban, the Postmaster, near the entrance of the Hideaway.
Quest Details
Travel back to the 
Lostwing Obelisk and find Quinten in “The Hanged Man” pub. Quinten will ask Clive to search for Randal in an area called Laubert’s Pass.
Laubert’s Pass is the pathway leading south out of Lostwing towards Norvent Valley. You can use the Optional Quest Marker 
to help direct you to the proper location.
At first, you’ll come across Quinten’s Comrade, who will direct you further down the pass, and a little further down the way, you will find a smashed cart surrounded by Hill Goblins and a Hill Gigas. These are all enemies that you’re familiar with—they don’t require any complicated strategies to defeat.
After the fight, examine the body on the ground near the shrubs. Warp back to Lostwing and speak to Quinten to complete the quest (read the Helpful Hint below before you do!).
Caer Norvent River Gate
Helpful Hint
If you chose to come back to this area after the fight with Benedikta to collect crafting materials, you may have already done this, but if not, now is a great opportunity to activate the Caer Norvent River Gate Obelisk, which will make traveling back here much faster later on in the game. The Caer Norvent River Gate can be found at the end of this Norvent Valley pathway, not far from where the Optional Quest concludes.
