This quest is unlocked when you reach 
Back to Their Origin, the last Main Scenario Quest.
Quest Giver and Location
The quest giver is Herman, the Cursebreaker, and he can be found up in the Atrium above Mid’s Dungeon and the Haven in the east section of the Hideaway.
Quest Details
Travel to the 
Vidargraes Obelisk, hop on your 
Chocobo, and head south towards the Badbach Conservatory. The entrance to the town is a pathway on the east side of the village. The door into the conservatory will now be unlocked.
Open up the treasure coffer inside to obtain a 
Potion and 20 
Sharp Fangs. Examine the registry on the items around the conservatory until the quest marker moves to a “forked white tree.”
Head out towards the graveyard and head to the back to find the tree. As you approach it, a short cinematic will play as Clive receives the 
Bearer Registry, before an Akashic Gunnvaldr and some Akashic soldiers ambush Clive. Defeat the enemies and then return to Herman to complete the quest.
