This quest is unlocked when you reach 
Back to Their Origin, the last Main Scenario Quest. You’ll also need to have completed A Bone to Pick for this quest to be unlocked.
Quest Giver and Location
This quest is activated by reading a missive called 
In Search of a Lost Tome. The missives can be found at the 
Reading Table in Clive’s Chambers in the Hideaway.
Quest Details
Start by speaking with Vivian in the Map Room, and then speak with Harpocrates.
The next destination is the town of Garnick in Vidargraes, Northeast Waloed. Travel to the 
Vidargraes Obelisk and follow the quest marker to Garnick.
The book you’re looking for, called 
From a Distance, is located in the bookshelf at the back of the house.
As you exit the house, you’ll be ambushed by the Executor’s minions. The “Inquisitor” is another axe-wielding enemy similar to the ones you’ve faced before and should go down quite easily.
Return to the Hideaway and give the book to Vivian to complete the quest.
