Gorgimera (The Tricephalic Terror)

The section provides an overview of how to track down and defeat the Notorious Mark for the Gorgimera Hunt.
In-Game Description
“A caravan of traders traversing the Velkroy told me of a colossal beast they had encountered on their journey. To hear them tell it, it had the aspect of a dragon, a lion, and a scorpion all at once. I contested that it might be naught but a mirage—a phantasm brought about by the desert heat—but the sweat which ran down their foreheads was cold, and the fear in their eyes, real.”
Unlock Conditions
This Hunt becomes available during the Across the Narrow Main Scenario Quest, but only after you’ve visited the infirmary.
Notorious Mark Location
This Notorious Mark can be found in the western section of the Velkroy Desert. The easiest way to get there is to travel to The Dalimil Inn Obelisk, and exit through the town’s north gate.

Battle Tactics
Notorious Mark Battle

Rank: S
This will be the second time you’ve faced a chimera-type enemy if you completed the Blacksmith’s Blues IV Optional Quest. However, as a “Rank S” Notorious Mark, this enemy is much stronger than the “Canyon Chimera.”
Gorgimera’s attacks include:
- Ice Bolts: The ram’s head on the Gorgimera’s left side will launch three bolts of ice magic, which will create an icy spot on the battlefield that you must avoid until it entirely dissipates.
- Lightning Bolts: The dragon’s head on Gorgimera’s right side will light up some spots on the battlefield, which an electrical bolt will eventually hit. Move out of the spots on the battlefield that light up.
- Flame Breath: The lion’s head will spew flames forward. This attack is easy to dodge and is one you’ve seen many times before (aevis-type enemies).
- The Dragon’s Voice: A number of areas around the map will glow with electricity. Move out of those spots quickly.
- The Ram’s Voice: The area around Gorgimera will begin to glow. Move away from it before the attack triggers.
- Delta Attack/Delta Force: A large, magical circle will form on the map with electricity and flames appearing as it forms. Get out of the circle before the attack finishes to avoid the damage. Delta Force is the same as Delta Attack, except that multiple areas on the map will be hit at the same time.
