The four Verdelet enemies are easy enough to defeat but the challenge of this fight is to prevent them from using “Summon” to bring more powerful allies into the battle. If a Verdelet is able to successfully cast a summon in battle, they will bring a Tonberry into the fray which will greatly increase the amount of time it takes to complete the fight.
Setup either a Cerberus paradigm (all three characters as a Commandos) or Relentless Assault if one of your party members doesn’t have their Commando role unlocked. Make sure that this paradigm is setup as your default paradigm to begin the battle. Select AoE (Area of Effect) attacks such as Ruinga or Blitz that will hit multiple enemies and focus your attacks on whichever Verdelet is casting “Summon”.
You should be able to defeat them before they get any summons off and it’s worth restarting and reattempting the battle if they do manage to bring a Tonberry into the fight.
This Mission as well as any of the other Missions completed in the “E” section of the Faultwarrens are the last ones you can reach in the chain. Titan will transport you back to the beginning of the Faultwarrens at which point you can select another track through the Titan’s Trials.
