A short cutscene will occur the first time you enter the Font of Namva giving a bit of foreshadowing for where this mission is leading. The two marks are accompanied by two Ceratosaurs.
The Cie’th Stone for this mission is in the middle of the Western Benchland area of the Archylte Steppe.
As noted above, you will need to travel through the newly opened passage way that was created after completing Mission 12 which removed the nearby Cie’th Paling. Travel through the Arid Strath and into the new Font of Namva area.
A short cutscene will take place as you enter and the group of marks will be located nearby harassing a Chocobo.

This is another battle that can be really challenging due to the onslaught of damage that will be coming your way from the large group of mobs. It can become particularly troublesome if the enemies coordinate with one another and focus all of the efforts on one of your party members. You could find yourself overwhelmed very quickly, having to revive KO’d party members and struggling to out heal the attacks.
Start off in a defensive paradigm like Evened Odds that will allow Hope to buff up the party which will help deal with some of the damage. Focus on defeating the Ceratosaurs first as they can summon allies into the the fight which will make it significantly harder. You may even want to switch your paradigms around too include a Sentinel if you’re having trouble surviving the attacks.
You will automatically receive the Gysahl Wreath achievement / trophy after you defeat the mark for Mission 14.
Congratulations! You now have the option of using Chocobos to ride around the Archylte Steppe and its surrounding areas. This will make it much easier to get around. For more information on how to use Chocobos, as well as some of the side quests you now have access to, check out the Chocobo side quest page using the link below.
