What Ails You
This page provides an overview of how to complete the What Ails You Optional Quest.
Unlock Conditions
This quest is only available as part of 
The Rising Tide DLC Expansion. Check out the Expansion Overview section for more information on how to unlock the expansion content.
This quest is unlocked after the team completes the events at the Surge and after visiting the Witanhall following their return to Haven.
Quest Giver and Location
The quest giver is Fanet, who is located just south of the 
Haven Foundry.
Quest Details
The first step of this quest is to speak with Pavaat at the Haven Foundry. Next, head over to the west side of Haven to talk to Blasir, the fisherman. Finally, speak to Fanet one more time.
Your next destination is also in Father’s Fell, but it’s not close to the 
Riversmeet Obelisk, so head out of the north side of Haven and hop on your 
Chocobo to head to the quest marker.
Once you reach your designation, you’ll encounter a group of Tonberries that you’ll need to defeat. Clive will grab the 
Silver Chain off the pedestal once you’ve dispatched them. Head back to Fanet to complete the quest.
Rewards
Serpent Ring Design DraftThe Adder Stone will allow you to locate and track down 
Aquamarine as you travel through Mysidia. There are a total of eight stones to collect, and their locations will be identified as you work your way through the other sections of the guide.

“Often is it that letters requesting aid find their way to Clive’s reading desk. Rarer, though, are occasions when said letters are anonymous. Even rarer still, however, are occasions when the aid in question is to rescue an Eikon thought lost for several centuries. This so happens to be one of those rarest of occasions.”
