Bird of Passage
This page provides an overview of how to complete the Bird of Passage Optional Quest.

This quest is unlocked after the team completes the events at the Surge and after visiting the Witanhall following their return to Haven.
Quest Giver and Location
The quest giver is Manda, who can be found in the northeast section of the village near the Chocobo stalls.
Quest Details
This quest is just as simple as the earlier ones in Mysidia, except there’s a bit more travel involved, as you’ll be heading back to Valisthea. For now, though, find Manda’s father near the Haven Stores.
The next objective involves traveling to the 
Martha’s Rest Obelisk and speaking to Rowan nearby. He’ll provide Clive with the 
Mimett Gourd.
Next, travel to the Northreach Obelisk and head back down to the area where the skiff was docked just to the north of town. You’ll find Manda’s father there. Talk to him and give him the Mimett Gourd.
Ambrosia will now get to make the trip over in Manda’s father’s skiff, and this concludes the quest.

Experience Points
You will now be able to ride Ambrosia in Mysidia when you’re outside of Haven.

This quest begins from a missive called 
(Unmarked).
“Often is it that letters requesting aid find their way to Clive’s reading desk. Rarer, though, are occasions when said letters are anonymous. Even rarer still, however, are occasions when the aid in question is to rescue an Eikon thought lost for several centuries. This so happens to be one of those rarest of occasions.”
