False Friends
This page provides an overview of how to complete the False Friends Optional Quest.
Quest Giver and Location
Speak to Brennan, the Sellsword, standing near a chocobo just outside the Golden Stable at Martha’s Rest.
Quest Details
Exit Martha’s Rest across the bridge on the southeast side of town (the same bridge you crossed when you first arrived). Speak to the “Off-duty Sellsword” with the Optional Quest Marker 
on the bridge, and he will point out where Norreis, the target for this quest, was last seen.
Continue along the pathway and head northeast to find and retrieve a lamp that Norreis was carrying. Keep going to the next quest marker to find Norreis standing outside of a dilapidated wooden structure, and speak to him to complete the quest.
