Hecatoncheir
Hecatoncheir is Vanille’s Eidolon and he is the last Eidolon that you obtain in the game. Vanille and Fang will battle against Hecatoncheir as the team are working their way through Chapter 11 - Mah’habara Subterra.
His attacks are both physical and magic based, and they are quite strong given that they ignore any physical or magical defense that the target may possess.

Normal Mode
Hecatoncheir is a very offensively focused Eidolon that will throw strong attacks at any enemies you’re facing. He is incapable of healing Vanille though so make sure that you take care to protect her from damage while the Eidolon is unleashing its offensive capabilities.

Charging the Gestalt Gauge

As a reminder, you can charge his Gestalt Gauge by utilizing the same tactics you used to charge his Gestalt Gauge during the Eidolon battle, namely:
- Yields to those who amass chain bonuses.
- Yields to those who heal the wounded.
- Yields to those who weaken and debilitate their enemies.
Start off by having Vanille apply some status ailments to the enemies to increase the damage Hecatoncheir does while also boosting the Gestalt Gauge, and then swap over to her Ravager role.
Gestalt Mode
Hecatoncheir, like Alexander and Brynhildr, can chain together attacks in Gestalt Mode which causes them to cost significantly less. Most of his attacks can be chained including Chain Cannons, Missile Tetrad and Piercing Ray.
