Strategy

“Bad Breath” hits the entire party and inflicts Sleep, Poison, Confusion, Silence, Frog, and Small all at once, which can end a battle on the spot. A Ribbon blocks every one of those status effects; if you have no Ribbons, cure the afflicted quickly with a Remedy or Esuna. Malboros use “Bad Breath” regularly, which at least makes it easy to learn on your Enemy Skill Materia.
