2-Player Control System

New to Resident Evil 0? Or just want to make sure you know everything there is to know to make your life easier? Then you’ve come to the right place.

The 2 Player Control system is actually quite easy to understand and it won’t take me long to explain it.

You can only control one character at a time and you can choose whether the other character stays behind, moves with you, runs past enemies or shoots them with you.

Here’s how you can set it all up. Hit Y to bring up the menu. From here you can go to the top and select “Partner” and edit all the things you need. Attack or Idle just decides whether you want the other player to attack or not. While Solo is selected the other player will not move and while team is selected the player will follow you. Press L while in this menu to view the other characters items and as long as you are close to your partner you can exchange items with them. Press X to change the character you control.

While outside the Y menu there are two shortcuts you can use. First of all, using X to switch characters works while in the Y menu as well as during any other game play and pressing Start will toggle Solo and Team modes, so whether or not you want the other character to follow.

Keep in mind, Billy is stronger, only Rebecca can mix herbs, only Rebecca can add chemicals to her mixing set and only Billy can light things on fire. Happy gaming!
