Human Females

Amazon

Basic female class wielding bow and arrows, having gained enough experience to fight on her own. Visual: Small female carrying a bow and wearing a white headband. She wears normal blue clothing.

Front Row:
Shoot x 1 - Type: Physical. Shoots an arrow at a distant target.
Middle Row:
Shoot x 1 - Type: Physical. Shoots an arrow at a distant target.
Back Row:
Shoot x 1 - Type: Physical. Shoots an arrow at a distant target.

Short Bow
Leather Armor
-
Bandanna

This is your first support unit. All she’s really good for is to be put in the back row to fire off as many arrows as she can. Her hits are okay, but the knights attacks are much stronger. It’s good to team a few Archers up with your attackers to give them extra support from behind, all adding to your attacking strength, and making battles much easier and faster.

Advanced Class

Archer

Though using the same weapons, the Archer’s skill easily surpasses that of the Amazon. Visual: Small female carrying a larger bow and wearing a green cloak and hat. She has a yellow dress on.

Front Row:
Shoot x 1 - Type: Physical. Shoots an arrow at a distant target.
Middle Row:
Shoot x 2 - Type: Physical. Shoots an arrow at a distant target.
Back Row:
Shoot x 2 - Type: Physical. Shoots an arrow at a distant target.

Great Bow
Leather Armor
-
Leather Hat

This is a much better character then the Amazon. Her attacks actually have some effect on the outcome of the battle. The weird thing about this character is that its best spot is in the center row, which is unusual because no other character shares that trait. This allows you to place it almost anywhere, and you’ll still have room to place your much more important characters.

Dragon Tamer

With her thrusting sword, the Dragon Tamer commands huge dragons and bring out their full potential. Visual: Small, lightly armored female with a sword. She wears a blue shirt and green pants. She has a dragon skull on her head for a helm.

Front Row:
Thrust x 2 - Type: Physical. Thrusts weapon at target.
Middle Row:
Thrust x 1 - Type: Physical. Thrusts weapon at target.
Back Row:
Thrust x 1 - Type: Physical. Thrusts weapon at target.

Rapier
Chain Mail
-
Bone Helm

This is a pretty good character. It’s the first attacker you have that’s a female and it uses a very rare type of sword called the thrusting sword. I still think that this is one of the cool characters you get - when its really early in the game. Be sure to make some of your female characters Dragon Tamers, as there moderate attack power is very helpful.

Valkyrie

Warrior maiden of the gods. She attacks gracefully with her spear, and wields the power of wind. Visual: The Valkyrie carries a spear, and has a very small shield strapped to her left arm. She carries the spear behind her and is wearing all blue. She appears to have small wings that come out of her head.

Front Row:
Cleave x 2 - Type: Physical. Cleaves target in two with a pole arm.
Middle Row:
Cleave x 1 - Type: Physical. Cleaves target in two with a pole arm.
Back Row:
Lightning x 2 - Offensive spell of wind that damages the target with an electrical discharge.

Round Shield
Plumed Headband

The Valkyrie is a very cool female warrior. She has a pretty good attack and has the opportunity to evolve into most other female characters. I also like the way she looks. She is, at the point in the game where you get her, the best female warrior you’ll have. She is also a magic user from the back row, who can combine with a Sorceress or a Wizard. Not as good of a front row attacker as a Dragon Tamer though.

Witch

This class specializes in casting supportive spells. The wide-brimmed hat is her trademark. Visual: The Witch carries a broom straight out in front of her and has blue pants, shirt, big blue boots and a large blue hat. She has relatively long hair.

WIND: SHOCK BOLT
Supportive spell of wind that paralyzes the target with weak jolt of electricity.
FLAME: RAY OF PARALYSIS
Supportive spell of flame that stuns its target with flashes of light and deafening explosions.
EARTH: POISON CLOUD
Supportive spell of earth that poisons the enemy with highly toxic gas.
HYDRA: SLUMBER MIST
Supportive spell of water that lulls its target to sleep with extreme cold.

The Witch is your first, most basic, magic user. It cannot harm any opponents, but it can use status effects on them. All the status effects will cause harm to the enemy, and help your team in the end. For the beginning of the game, this class is okay to use. I wouldn’t suggest using very many though, because characters that can do more damage will obviously help you win a lot easier. I suggest upgrading your few Witches as soon as possible (to Sorceress’).

Sorceress

Beautiful female spell caster, whose magical ability is somewhat greater than the Wizards. Visual: Female wearing a blue jacket and carrying a staff directly behind her. She wears tanned pants and has long hair.

WIND: LIGHTNING
Offensive spell of wind that damages the target with an electrical discharge.
FLAME: FIRE BALL
Magic spell of wind that summons Thunderbird, the spirit of lightning.
EARTH: ACID VAPOR
Offensive spell of earth that engulfs its target with an acid steam.
HYDRA: ICE BLAST
Offensive spell of water that shoots a large icicle at the opponent.

The Sorceress is a pretty good character. Like the description says, it is slightly better than the Wizard. It is a good support unit just like the Wizard as well. It can combine its magic with other Sorceresses or other Wizards to create a much more powerful spell. It is the best support character you can receive at the time, and any good battalion will have quite a few.

Cleric

Though forbidden to harm others, the cleric is able to heal her companions through her faith. Visual: The Cleric is a female with long braided hair in front of her. She wears a large blue cloak that’s hooded and carries a mace.

Front Row:
Healing x 1- Restorative spell of virtue that heals a character through prayer.
Middle Row:
Healing x 1- Restorative spell of virtue that heals a character through prayer.
Back Row:
Healing x 2- Restorative spell of virtue that heals a character through prayer.

Light Mace
Cleric’s Vestment
-

The Cleric is your first healer. You can get her rather early, and she’ll really help your group last longer in any battle. Having one Cleric in every group will make sure that they don’t have to heal up at strongholds. It also makes sure that you don’t have to worry about a heavily damaged character dying off, because chances are your Cleric will get to it and heal it before the end of your units next turn. I recommend making a lot of Clerics.

Master Class

Diana

Master of archery and the specialist in ranged combat. Her speed and accuracy are incomparable. Visual: Female with long red hair. Carries a bow in front of her, holds her hand in the air behind her. Wears all blue.

Front Row:
Shoot x 1 - Type: Virtue. Shoots an arrow at a distant target.
Middle Row:
Shoot x 2 - Type: Virtue. Shoots an arrow at a distant target.
Back Row:
Shoot x 3 - Type: Virtue. Shoots an arrow at a distant target.

Ytival
Hard Leather
-
Plumed Headband

The Diana is just basically an archer x3. She gets lots of attacks from the back row. I didn’t find much of a need for them because I used magic users. It is good to equip one with the bow that can petrify people though. Use them if you need support for your attackers.

Dragon Master

This title is given to a Dragon Tamer who can elevate her Dragons’ potential above their limits. Visual: The Dragon Master looks just like the Dragon Tamer except she has two webbed wings coming out of her head. She actually looks pretty cool.

Front Row:
Thrust x 2 - Type: Physical. Thrusts weapon at the target.
Middle Row:
Thrust x 2 - Type: Physical. Thrusts weapon at the target.
Back Row:
Thrust x 2 - Type: Physical. Thrusts weapon at the target.

Estoc
Scale Armor
-
Plumed Headband

The Dragon Master is awesome! She is the best female attacker, and is awesome with Dragons. Don’t be afraid to make quite a few of these awesome characters, as their power will no doubt help your attacking line. I personally recommend making many.

Freya

Warrior maiden given divine protection from her patron god. She excels in both physical combat and sorcery. Visual: Female replica of the Valkyrie, wearing much more armor and has large feathers in the back of her helm.

Front Row:
Cleave x 2 - Type: Wind. Cleaves target in two with a pole arm.
Middle Row:
Cleave x 2 - Type: Wind. Cleaves target in two with a pole arm.
Back Row:
Thunder Flare x 2 - Offensive spell of wind that calls down bolts of lightning upon the area of effect.

Thunder Spear
Baldr Mail
Buckler
Armet

The Freya is awesome! She is also one of the best front line female attackers. She attacks with her spear, and many awesome spears can be found in the game, so her attack is usually great. She can also use magic from the back row. From the back, she can combine her attack with other magic users. This is an all around great character and I recommend making quite a few.

Siren

Even more powerful and beautiful than a Sorceress, the Siren is able to cast area-effect spells. Visual: Female who has a spear which she carries behind her. She wears a furry coat and has a cape. Her hair is purple.

WIND:
LIGHTNING - Offensive spell of wind that damages the target with an electrical discharge.
WIND:
THUNDER FLARE: Offensive spell of wind that calls down bolts of lightning upon the area of effect.
FLAME:
FIRE BALL - Magic spell of wind that summons Thunderbird, the spirit of lightning.
FLAME:
FIRE STORM - Offensive spell of flame that creates a pillar of fire and burns all within the area of effect.
EARTH:
ACID VAPOR - Offensive spell of earth that engulfs its target with an acid steam.
EARTH:
CRAG PRESS - Offensive spell of earth that drops enormous boulder and crushes all in the area of effect.
WATER:
ICE BLAST - Offensive spell of water that shoots a large icicle at the opponent.
WATER :
ICE FIELD - Offensive spell of water that forms a blizzard concentrated in the area of effect.

The Siren is the next and best step up for your magic users. She can cast magic that effects groups of people instead of just one. She can still combine her attacks with other magic users, to create an incredible attack. A combination of Sirens and Archmages is an incredibly efficient team. No battalion is complete without Sirens. I personally recommend that almost every unit have a Siren (or an Archmage).

Priest

High-ranking Cleric, whose compassionate prayer heals the injured. Visual: Priests look exactly like Clerics except they have a huge gold symbol attached to their head gear, which is detached from the rest of her green cloak. She has long braided hair and carries a mace.

Front Row:
Healing Plus x 1 - Restorative spell of virtue that heals multiple characters through prayer.
Middle Row:
Healing Plus x 1 - Restorative spell of virtue that heals multiple characters through prayer.
Back Row:
Healing Plus x 2- Restorative spell of virtue that heals multiple characters through prayer.

Baldr Mace
Robe of the Wise
-
Rosary

The Priest is an absolutely awesome upgrade from the Cleric. The Priest has the ability to heal a whole group of units with one move. Not to mention the fact that she can do it twice from the back. It basically makes your characters invincible. I recommend having a Priest in every group, unless you strictly need attackers. Priests are hard to get though, because you need to have a very high alignment. Get Priests as soon as possible!

Princess

Her dignity and charisma are such that her companions are inspired to perform beyond their potential. Visual: The Princess wears a pure-white dress, which is actually what it’s called, and has a blue stripe down the side. She has blonde hair and a golden crown. She appears high and mighty, and fights with a fan.

Wow! The Princess is absolutely worth all the effort it takes to get her. You can only have one, and cherish her well. When she’s leading a unit, she gives all the other characters another attack. Very effective. It basically gives you another turn. The Princess is a magic user. She will have the magic of the element of the character you change into a Princess. Be sure to change someone valuable, because you only get one chance, and you want your Princess to be good. Get one as soon as possible!

Centurion

Title given to the those who have proven themselves as leaders. A Centurion is capable of commanding a legion. Visual: The Centurion wears all white clothes and has a green hat on. She fights with a sword.

Front Row:
Slash x 2 - Type: Physical. Slashes target with a sword.
Middle Row:
Slash x 2 - Type: Physical. Slashes target with a sword.
Back Row:
Slash x 1- Type: Physical. Slashes target with a sword.

Baldr Sword
Plate Armor
Buckler
Baldr Helm

I have never really had to use a Centurion, so I wouldn’t know much about them. I have been told that they have a pretty good attack, and I know that they are capable of leading a legion.

Lich

One who ceased to exist as a human being in order to further pursue the way of magic. Visual: The Lich is an ugly character. It has a ragged dark blue cloak, and wears a golden head band. Its face is grey with age. It carries a staff in its left hand.

Front Row:
Dark Quest x 2 - Offensive spell of bane that sends a multitude of evil spirits against those in the area of effect.
Middle Row:
Dark Quest x 2 - Offensive spell of bane that sends a multitude of evil spirits against those in the area of effect.
Back Row:
Dark Quest x 3 - Offensive spell of bane that sends a multitude of evil spirits against those in the area of effect.

Kerykeion
Bloodstained Robe

Ring of the Dead

The Lich is obviously the best magic user. You can only get up to two of them, and the change is not reversible. Make sure you use it on someone who will make good use of it. You can find up to two ‘Ring of the Dead’ to make them. The Lich has the ability to cast area of effect magic, so it hurts multiple people. She is very strong, and grows in ability very fast. Make use of the Lich as soon as you can, because this ugly little character is quite use full.
