Annoyntment
Description:
Cures Trouble.
Details:
Used to cure the ‘Trouble’ status which causes damage received to that party member to be spread to other party members making it incredibly inhibiting.

Antidote
Description:
Cures Venom and Poison.
Details:
Used to cure the ‘Poison’ and ‘Venom’ status effects. Poison causes damage-over-time to an enemy and Venom impacts a characters MP.

Dark Matter
Description:
Deals damage to the target. Equip as an Add-on.
Details:
Deals 9999 damage to the enemy.

Dead Pepper
Description:
Deals damage to the target. If you give it to a Chocobo...
Details:
Can be equipped as an Add-on. Deals 30 damage for every Dead Pepper in your inventory.

Echo Screen
Description:
Cures Silence.
Details:
Use to cure the ‘Silence’ status effect which prevents a character from casting magic spells.

Elixir
Description:
Fully restores HP and MP.
Details:
The most powerful healing item in the game. The tendency is to save these until more critical moments in the game however they are fairly abundant so don’t be afraid to use them.

Ether
Description:
Restores 150 MP. The effect decreases if used outside of battle.
Details:
The effect is reduced to 100 MP outside of battle.

Eye Drops
Description:
Cures Darkness.
Details:
Cures the ‘Darkness’ status effect which blinds a character causing them to miss their regular attacks.

Gysahl Green
Description:
Cures Berserk. Item has no effect in the field. Chocobo’s favorite food.
Details:
Used on the world map to call Choco (the Chocobo) and can also be used to cure Berserk.

Hi-Potion
Description:
Restores 450 HP. The effect decreases if used in the field.
Details:
The item restores only 300 HP when used outside of battle.

Magic Tag
Description:
Cures Zombie.
Details:
Used to cure the ‘Zombie’ status effect which prevents healing items and curative spells from being used on the target.

Phoenix Down
Description:
Cures KO.
Details:
Revives a character from KO with a limited number of HP.

Phoenix Pinion
Description:
Cures KO. It cannot be used in the field.
Details:
Revives a character from KO with a limited number of HP.

Pinwheel
Description:
Throwing weapon used with the command ‘Throw’. It cannot be equipped.
Details:
Can be thrown as a weapon in battle by Amarant using the Throw command.

Potion
Description:
Restores 150 HP. The effect decreases if used in the field.
Details:
The item restores only 100 HP when used outside of battle.

Remedy
Description:
Cures various status abnormalities.
Details:
Unlike most other Final Fantasy games, Remedy only cures a few status effects, including: Gradual Petrify, Mini, Poison, Silence, Stop and Venom.

Soft
Description:
Cures Petrify and Gradual Petrify.
Details:
Used to cure the ‘Petrify’ and ‘Gradual Petrify’ status effects. Characters impacted by the Petrify status are effectively KO’d from battle until the status is removed.

Tent
Description:
Restores HP and MP. If you ask a save Moogle, he will restore everyone’s HP and MP.
Details:
Can be used when speaking to a Moogle (or by calling a Moogle on the world map) to restore most of each of the character’s HP and MP. It can also cure Darkness, Poison and Silence.

Vaccine
Description:
Cures Virus.
Details:
Used to cure the ‘Virus’ status effect which prevents a character from gaining EXP or AP at the end of a battle.
